This (de)acclimating thing is a funny business. You'd never know that I spent more than a decade in the Midwest, given how much I dislike driving or even walking on ice and snow. On the other hand, last week's 100+ heat index had even me turning the ceiling fans on.
(I may yet hit your neck of the woods some summer for the Berkshire Choral Festival -- I'd like to sing Beethoven's 9th sometime, and if BCF schedules it within the next decade or three, that'll probably be how I get to.)
