stubborn as tulips
Jan. 7th, 2013 12:58 pmLast fall, I put down several layers of newspaper and kraft paper underneath mulch, to deter weeds. One of the gardening sites I consulted reassured me that the tulips would have no trouble piercing through the layers when the time was right.
