I felt like that last year when people started putting Christmas decorations up November 1st. But I myself left our Christmas house lights stay up until February when the days were finally visibly longer. They cheered both of us enormously. And colored lights don't have to mean Christmas, anyway, so I didn't feel like I'd refused to take down the tree.
I just may put out a pumpkin on the porch the minute they show up at the grocery store this year, which means in the next week or so. I want to really lean into autumn.
