Well, of course. I think the dude would agree, actually. (Twinkly older black guy. This one was a stranger, but same vibe as the others in my life who when they see are pretty much all "Hey, beautiful, what trouble you causin' now?" There's a guard at the museum -- a former state wrestling champion -- who practically cackles with approval every time I tell him I'm on my way to the gym (and correspondingly sadfaces when I'm sick or injured enough to head straight to my car instead)).
Which is a long way of saying, odds are I wouldn't have been amused if the comment had come from some bro outside of that demographic -- especially not some douchebag on a pedal tavern -- but in this case the dude reminded me of my friends T. and L., who can get away with saying that stuff to me because they also give me props for being dangerous. ;)
