I have made a point of shutting off both my laptop and phone entirely for 24-hour+ stretches several times this year, once while recovering from surgery and a couple of times as a shabbat observance. I'd like to get to the point where I can do so regularly (not necessarily every Friday night, but at least one sundown-to-sundown stretch per week would be nice) and on specific holidays.
