A funny thing is that my former hiking partner's elder son shares an alma mater with you, and regularly attends dance camps himself, so I kinda associate you with that world even though you're not of it.

It's nice to belong to a subculture where the results are more up to me than, say, fantasy tennis (my results this year being nothing to speak of). I like to think I'm pretty good about being willing to dance with beginners as well as people at my level; the only time I truly don't have fun is when someone a notch "better" than me gets snide about or frustrated with me not being as skilled as they expect -- and the really, really good dancers have a knack for teaching me how to improve rather than just demanding it. #goals
